It was extremely hot the other day and I hate leaving the dogs in the truck even with the windows open; also Shar-pei’s are very intolerant of the heat.
I decided to tie them up under a semi trailer so I could continue working. Kato was happy to just lay down but Laila had other ideas in mind and tried to get Daddy to come along with her. It wasn’t happening!
She is one determined little pup though.

Ha ha!
Laila: “Want to play!”
Kato: “No!”
It is definitely hot here. I am comprehending cracking an egg on the sidewalk just to see if it would literally cook in the heat and how long it would actually take.

I assign them conversations all the time; sometimes I think I need more human contact!
We have had so much rain my toes are growing webs like a duck. Maybe I am supposed to be building an ark and just didn’t get God’s text message.

So I’ve heard! Hardly seems fair, I have lots to spare up here. Torrential, for days but I think the sun is going to shine today.

I love when it would poor down, I would get inspired for a myriad of ideas. When I first bought my recording hardware for my computer it had rained for a week straight and I had actually written and recorded enough material for two separate projects/albums. Now when it rains it spittles, then stops.

We’ve been in the 100s+ every day for at least a month. Last night, it was 92 degrees at 10 pm………. My poor chickens are not lovin’ it!

I’ve got hot dogs and you’ve got baked chickens!
Actually we’ve only had a handful of “kinda” hot days so far this summer. It’s been very cold and rainy; my dogs are just wimps; especially Kato. The sun just touches him and he’s glued to the back of the seat and looking at me like, “Do something! It’s touching me!”
