Best Canada Day Long Weekend Ever.

I have been so busy I haven’t had a chance to tell you how my weekend ended.

It was 10 pm and I was relaxing with a neighbor after a great Canada Day of being out on the party barge when we heard fireworks going off. We went outside and the sound was coming from the town Heritage Park which is on top of a small mountain in town. I guess because it is up the mountain we were able to watch the whole fireworks display sitting on my neighbour’s deck.

The whole resort was asleep and we had our own fireworks show that was doubly beautiful because it reflected off the lake.

A perfect way to end the weekend.

I hope everyone here had a safe and fun 4th of July.

Love and Hugs

Wow! I’m impressed. I had no idea any celebration of Independence Day happened in Canada on the Fourth of July! Yes, we had a great fourth! After being chased out of town by the police because setting off fireworks are against city ordinance, we went out to the country, on a deserted (more or less) blacktop and had our own fireworks display! Had a great time – myself, daughter, 3 grandkids and daughter’s BF! Evidently you did too. So nice to hear! Hugs, Linda

Wow Carrie, what a great surprise for you! Sounds so nice….just sitting by the water with neighbors/friends and being able to just relax and enjoy the beauty of it all. Life can be so good can’t it? Glad you are doing so much better.
