This Says It All!

This fits the theme of my earlier post about communication. It says It better than I ever could and it is so true.

When people go through what we have we develop a compassion and quiet strength we never had before. I hate to ever give JC credit but this time I will say because he was such an unfeeling; sadistic, vengeful, passive aggressive, self serving, piece of shit and a spawn of the devil I am a better person for surviving the hell on earth he put me through.

And he says I never give him credit for all the things he did for me.

    Dear Carrie,
Thanks for the post. This goes to the ‘heart’ of the matter. May we all come out of the dark forest into the light of compassion, clarity and joy! Bonnie

Thanks, so much, for sharing that. It made me think of a time awhile ago when I was thinking about people I know that have some spiritual depth and insight. I realized they all had 1 thing in common, suffering. It also brought to mind conversations I’ve had about why God allows this, that, & the other to happen. I remember someone saying He allows our hearts to be broken so the whole world can fall in. True, in a sense, as we are able to emphasize and help others through our hardships.

      Cheryl, I love that
“He allows our hearts to be broken so the whole world can fall in.”
And from my experiences with this blog I have to agree!
      Thank you for sharing 🙂

Beautiful quote Carrie…. yes, suffering can make us more human and more loving, compassionate humans. The N’s will never know this because to suffer, you must have a soul. Thank you Carrie.
